Why You’ll Want to Join Us at Cherish the Moments Bridal Extravaganza
On September 28, we’ll be at our first bridal show of the season, Cherish the Moments Bridal Extravaganza 2014, at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston. We hope we’ll see you there. Here’s why:
We think the Cherish the Moments bridal show is a great afternoon for brides. It’s the perfect size, so you can spend time with each vendor and really get to know them. The bigger bridal shows are often too crowded to allow for the one-on-one interactions. And it’s only those conversations that can give you a feel for the wedding professionals who can help make your wedding perfect. We think that’s the “extra” in Extravaganza, and we look forward to meeting each and every bride and spending time with you.
And when you talk to vendors, don’t just start with, “How much do you charge?” or “How long have you been in business?” Ask questions to draw them out. Tell them about your wedding plans, and ask how they’d approach your event. Ask them what is their favorite type of wedding, or whether they have a specialty. Those conversations are how you’ll learn who’s right for you and who isn’t.
We suggested in our last blog post, that you’ll want to have a list of services you need, or at least a good idea about them. But go beyond that list, and look for the new and the irresistible. You never know when you might be surprised by something that’s just perfect for your wedding, even though you’d never thought about it before.
Along with the array of wedding professionals, you’ll see a fashion show, of course. And you’ll also have a chance to enter for two prize drawings during the course of the day. But you have to be there for each drawing to win.
So put on your comfy shoes, bring your maid of honor and your friends, and plan to enjoy a full afternoon visiting with us and all of our fellow vendors. You’re sure to find someone who’s perfect for your wedding.
